
This is a rendition of a famous painting by
Norman Rockwell that was on the Saturday
Evening post and it was painted by none other than the painter of the famous
"japanese
worm dragon" that was on the side of Sailor's shop.

Arcade...Sailor used to talk about his days as a
Tattooist working the Arcades in
Chicago in the 30's and 40's and how both were controlled by the mob and what it was like
then.I remember Bill telling stories of shops being bombed and Tattooers having their
thumbs broken (because it takes longer for a thumb to heal) and a lot of stories that
would
not be suitable for this unrestricted access domain. Old School tattooing 101....

location for many years and was a loyal and trusted Tattooer and friend of Sailors...
